Facebook Live Fireworks Show

Jun 29, 9:30pm

We’re putting Sodium Benzoate back where it belongs. Into 200lbs of explosive fireworks. Sodium Benzoate is an artificial preservative found in sauces, jellies and pickled foods. It’s also an active ingredient in fireworks. So to celebrate our removal of all artificial preservatives from Panera food, we’re staging an Independence Day fireworks show to remember. Join us live on Facebook as we bring fireworks to Johnston City, Illinois, for the first time in 10 years.

Follow us as we transform this run-down Boys & Girls Club using artificial preservatives. Learn more at bit.ly/2nTIX4r ... See MoreSee Less

Revana GouldGot served expired lemonade twice. Got mild food poisoning at another location and yesterday got served spoiled turkey avacado sandwich. Turkey smelled so bad I spit it out and I smelled the rest of it on the sandwich and it had that's sour, putrid smell meat gets when it's gone rotten. Also very slimy looking. Told the workers and all they said was "thank you". . Won't ever be eating at any of your locations again.

Amie Nance KoporcSo is the surprise that you're out of lettuce (how does that happen?!?) or that I had to wait a ridiculously long time for my call ahead order? I had no idea I needed to alert your kitchen staff that I was there waiting?!? After watching people who placed their order AFTER I arrived get their food, I finally asked where my food was. The guy preparing food said he didn't know I was there?!? This is the third time this has happened.

Nick HawleyI love Panera, but EVERY SINGLE TIME I get my meals I'm always confronted with the most disgusting pickles ever. Anyone else?! Seriously - is it that hard to get some decent pickles? I've purchased your overpriced food for years - the least I can get is a decent pickle. I don't even like to complain...but this pickle sent me over the edge after spending $43 for my family to eat some lunch.

Susan Midgett WetherbeeAte at Panera for the last time tonight, which is a huge disappointment, considering that Paradise Bakery was one of my favorites for 20 years. Your bread should be amazing, it's not (roll was hard as a rock and flavorless); a salad place without ranch dressing... ridiculous; supposedly offering "healthier options", then offering me a free pastry? I just want a decent salad, with some ranch on the side, with a nice, soft roll. Apparently too much to ask.

Ria Monét WinnsMorning Panera Bread I have an issue with my order below will be the picture of my bagel. I ordered a plain bagel, sliced and toasted this is what I got. Almost every time that I order online and pick up in the morning there is something wrong or I'm missing something. What am I supposed to do with this. It looks like they tried to cut it and it was like oh well F-it. This was a location and North Charleston South Carolina on International boulevard. Seems like the turn over there is very high. I hope you guys can-do something about this because I am very very upset.😡.

Alex RodriguezI agree with Maxwell. I usually stop in from time to time, quite often, honestly, and I get a bread bowl with the broccoli cheese soup. I compliment it with the cheesiest sandwich you can make. Apparently it's not on the menu. Last time I went the place was horrendous! Trash was all over. Not just a straw wrapper or two. No, it was foot on tables, under chairs, on the cans. The taste and quality of the food is never consistent. I really like coming to Panera and as I mentioned I go often, but after seeing Maxwells comment I have realized; your prices are not acceptable for the service you provide. Your staff is staffed with no one older than 20 years old and the service they provide is clear for their lack of experience in the industry. Maybe you'll change before the collapse. Or not. Kelly ParisOne question I have, and other restaurants are doing the same and that is why would you be asking for a tip on your customers receipts when they pay at the counter? I can't imagine why I would tip a cashier who does the same job at a grocery store. Customers at Panera don't have servers as in other restaurants who are tipped.

First off they used endeds or the bread for our sandwiches which made it less than 3 bits to finish, they forgot the condiment (hummas) and the mac and cheese was cold as if it didn't not even attempt to warm up. The iced green tea was watered down as well (we didn't get ice). Gina MartinezOMG I went yesterday and it was horrible. For 10$ for soup and salad, I need it to taste delicious at least. The Italian combo was THE best. Why change a good thing? The new italian was horrible..first of all, flavor profiles all over the place. Gardinera on the bottom (I don't want pickled cauliflower or carrots on an Italian sandwich.) Then 1 slice of ham, 1 slice of salami, 1 piece of I guess super extra sharp provolone that overpowered the whole thing. Then the arugala that was saturated in basil mayo...who does that? If this is clean eating, then I'm going back to Wendy's lol. I normally do not complain on food websites but this was the worst sandwich I have ever eaten. And you got rid of the Chinese almond chicken salad..no reason to go back

Regina YancyI had very bad experiences at one of your stores in Tulsa, OK twice. I ordered a Green Passion Smoothie and while I was watching the girl make the drink, the contents did not go to the normal fill line area. She looked at her co-worker and asked what should she do (not knowing that I was standing there watching). The co-worker replied "just tell the customer that this is the right amount and that you put it in the wrong cup. I have bought this before, I know what cup it should be in. Since I was going to work I didn't stay around to argue this. Two days later I showed up to get an Asiago Cheese Bagel toasted. Once I got to work I took out the bagel and it was BURNT!! I sent this information through your website and got an email from the store manager apologizing about it and saying that if I replied to the email with my name and address, that he would send me a food voucher including specialty drink to make up for all the trouble. I did as requested on Apr. 24th but have yet to see anything from this so called manager. I don't think that I'm going to go back to your stores again because not only is the service bad, but then management lies to you and doesn't want to try to make it right. Bad behavior!

Betsy HartmanOk, Panera. There are many things I love about you, but I'm so tired of ordering rapid pick-up at your Shrewsbury, MA, location and having my order messed up. There's not even a verbal communication mishap to blame - I enter what I want into a computer, and an employee (fails to) read it. Case in point, today my husband and I ordered two you-pick-twos with Green Goddess salads. His was to be standard, with greens, tomato, chicken, pickled red onions, avocado, bacon, a hardboiled egg, and Green Goddess dressing. His salad had no chicken and no dressing. My order is pictured below. I received no roasted cashew pieces, no hardboiled egg, and no avocado - despite requesting those things - and plenty of bacon, which I'd requested be left off. When my husband went to pick up our order, our cookies and drinks were left out of the bag, and he had to ask for them. Good thing he checked! My private, email complaints have received no response in the past, so I'm taking to a public forum like FB to ask you to please improve your order accuracy at your Shrewsbury, MA location!

I called & talked to the manager & he told me to come back & pick it up - in the past it was only one or two items so I just called to let them know & didn't go back to get them because I didn't want the rest of my lunch to get cold). When I got back there, within 10 minutes of my call they couldn't even find the manager I spoke with!!! There was another manager there & she said they were short staffed and short of managers!!! I ask you, Is that my problem? I am very disappointed with how this Oswego, IL Panara is being run lately. I did call corporate & was on hold for 22 minutes 21 seconds before I got a person to talk to. The only answer I got was they wouold pass on my information to a district manager. I'm sure that will be the last time I hear from them!!! I might add that I work at a business close to Panera & we have recommended them for their catering. We have now taken their name off of our restaurant list. We cannot recommend businesses that do not have good service. This happened today.
